Pageo — Terms of Service
This document sets out the rules for using the Pageo platform. Please read it carefully before creating an account.

The Uzbek (Latin) version is the legally binding text — it is the notarised translation. Other language versions are provided for convenience only.
The text has been reviewed by a lawyer specialising in the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
1. General provisions
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the relationship between Pageo LLC (the "Platform", "we"), operating under the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the user accessing the Pageo printed book verification platform. Use of any Platform function constitutes unconditional acceptance of all clauses of these Terms.
2. Definitions
Platform — the Pageo software and hardware system. User — a natural or legal person who has registered. Publisher — a legal entity producing printed matter and ordering QR protection for print runs. Printer — a certified partner performing the printing. Bookstore — a retail outlet using the intake terminal. Reader — a natural person verifying a book\u2019s authenticity. QR code — a cryptographically signed (ECDSA P-256) per-copy identifier. PII — personal data of the user within the meaning of Law ZRU-547.
3. Subject of the agreement
The Platform provides access to QR code generation, verification and analytics services for printed books, together with related tools: the reader\u2019s personal library, publisher / printer / bookstore cabinets, the BookCoins programme, anti-fraud analytics and the public API. The list of features by tier is published on the "Pricing" page.
4. Registration and account
Registration takes place via an email address or a Republic of Uzbekistan phone number. During registration the user confirms acceptance of these Terms and of the Privacy Policy via a dedicated checkbox. Business accounts must enable two-factor authentication. The user must keep credentials confidential and is responsible for all actions performed via the account. The Platform may restrict or terminate access in case of breach of these Terms.
5. User rights and obligations
The user agrees to: use the Platform only for lawful purposes; not attempt to bypass the cryptographic protection of QR codes; not use automated tools for mass scanning without written permission; not infringe third-party rights; not upload material contrary to the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The user may at any time request export of their data or deletion of the account in accordance with Section 8.
6. Platform rights and obligations
The Platform commits to providing service availability in line with the published SLA, protecting users\u2019 personal data, responding promptly to counterfeit complaints and ensuring transparency of the verification algorithm. The Platform may change functionality and pricing on at least 30 (thirty) calendar days\u2019 notice to users.
7. Pricing and payments
Basic verification functionality for readers is free. Paid tiers for business accounts are published on the "Pricing" page and may be paid via Click, Payme, Uzcard, Humo or other available payment systems. Prices are stated in Uzbek soum including VAT. Refunds are processed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the published refund policy.
8. Personal data and confidentiality
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On personal data" (ZRU-547) and the Privacy Policy. The primary database and backups are hosted within the territory of Uzbekistan. The user may withdraw consent and request correction or deletion of data via the "Profile / Privacy" section or by written request to the Platform.
9. Intellectual property
All rights to the Platform, its source code, design and to the Pageo trademarks belong to Pageo LLC. Publishers retain rights to covers, descriptions and other content they upload. Use of Platform materials without the rights holder\u2019s written consent is prohibited.
10. Limitation of liability
The Platform is provided on an "as is" basis. The Platform\u2019s liability is limited to documented direct damages and does not exceed the amount paid by the user during the last 12 (twelve) months. The Platform is not liable for the actions of third parties, unavailability of internet channels or force-majeure events.
11. Applicable law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Disputes are resolved through negotiations; failing agreement — by the Inter-District Economic Court of Tashkent. The pre-trial settlement period is 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date of receipt of the claim.
12. Changes to the Terms
The Platform may change these Terms. The new version is published at /legal/terms and is deemed accepted if the user continues to use the service for 30 (thirty) calendar days after publication. Version history is preserved in the consent log (consent_log) with the date, IP address and device of the user.
13. Final provisions
